Melinda Clark, MPA, RN, FACHE
President and Chief Executive Officer
 

Melinda joined Hospital Sisters Health System in 2010 after serving as the President and CEO of the Texas Region of St. Joseph Health System in Orange, CA. Prior to joining SJHS, she served for 12 years in the SSM Health Care System in various leadership positions, including President of DePaul Health Center, President of SSM Rehab and Vice President of Operations, SSM Rehabilitation Institute. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Indiana University and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University in California.  She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. 

 
Thomas Appelt, MHI
Director, Business Development
 

Tom joined PCIN in 2011. He previously worked in the banking industry.  He served as a Vice President for the Illinois Bankers Association and held positions in pharmaceutical sales.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Illinois State University and a Masters of Healthcare Innovation from Arizona State University.  

 
 
James M. Bock, MD
Chief Medical Officer 
 

Dr. Bock joined PCIN in 2015 after having served as PCIN’s Board Chair since the inception of the network in 2011.  Board Certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Bock completed his education and residency at the University of Illinois - College of Medicine, Rockford, IL.  He has been serving the health care needs of the Decatur, Illinois, community since 1990.  He is currently the Medical Director for the Central Illinois Division of the HSHS Medical Group.  Dr. Bock will continue his role with the HSHS Medical Group and will dually serve as PCIN’s CMO.   

 
Bryan Carlson, BSc, BSN, RN 
Population Care Coordinator
 

Bryan joined PCIN in 2015 after working in the Medical/Oncology unit, as well as, Surgery Services at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He is a member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), and also the American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN).  Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellin College.

 
Matt Peregrin 
Population Health Scientist/Clinical Analyst
 

Matt joined PCIN in 2014 after working in the HSHS Quality Department as the Quality Data Support Specialist.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Actuarial Science from Roosevelt University and is a member of the American Statistical Association.  Matt is currently enrolled at Northwestern University and will graduate with his Master of Science degree in Predictive Analytics in the Spring of 2016.

 
Suzanne Pruitt, BSN, RN 
Population Care Coordinator
 

Suzanne joined PCIN in October of 2015. Prior to joining PCIN, Suzanne served in nursing roles at Decatur Memorial Hospital and Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. Most recently, she spent 8 years with the Macon County Health Department as a RN, Family Case Manager, Peer Counselor Supervisor. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Millikin University.

 
Emily Ruholl, RN-BSN, CPHON, CLC
Population Care Coordinator
 

Emily joined PCIN in December of 2015 after working at HSHS St. John's Hospital as a nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John's College of Nursing.

Population Care Coordinator 
 

Alicia joined PCIN in 2015 after working in the Emergency and Endoscopy department as a Clinical Nurse Leader at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Decatur.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Springfield and a Master of Science in Nursing from Millikin University.
